This is what other guests said about -La Maison Louverie-

Adeline and Wulf work hard to make you as comfortable as possible.

The room we were given was fully equipped and the breakfast in the morning a culinary adventure, every morning again. The area is also great and Adeline is a walking tourist information office with lots of good tips for steps and restaurants. Really an address to go back to!

Wat een warm bad waar je in terecht komt.

Van ontvangst tot vertrek. Niets is teveel. Heerlijk ontbijt. Veel tips wat te doen in de omgeving en advies voor heerlijke restaurantjes. Kamer prima, goed bed er is niets wat er niet was qua benodigdheden. Nogmaals Adeline en Wulf veel dank voor alle goede zorgen.

A bit off the beaten path, but so worth it!

Wulf and Adeline have a gift for hospitality. They are so welcoming and gracious and they provide so many welcome extras – a wholesome breakfast with granola, fresh fruit, etc., a very nice, clean swimming pool, a welcome drink, a bottle of wine, a full kitchen, tasteful decorations throughout, comfortable bed, super clean and spacious. We loved it! And we had to climb the hill from the river on bikes!there is also a great small restaurant and bar With healthy food in town – a 25 minute walk away. Will definitely return to stay here again when in the area. Bien fait!

This was our second stay at La Maison Louverie,

and it was just as lovely and restful as last time. Adeline is the most thoughtful and warm host. Amazing breakfasts, turning over our room each day and booking tables for our evening restaurant meals, nothing is too much trouble. The house is as gorgeous as ever in an idyllic setting, ideal for exploring the Dordogne and local towns and villages. The house and gardens are made available to guests as if it was their own – a really special place. Thank you so much again Adeline and Wulf!

This Airbnb is more like a five star hotel with six star service.

Adeline and Wulf spare no effort to ensure that guests are comfortable and have everything they need. There are plenty of charming villages in the area and things to see and do but we spent most of our time enjoying the peace and quiet of La Maison Louverie. The beautiful house is surrounded by 10 acres of well maintained gardens and a delightful swimming pool. And you must try the spectacular and generous breakfast, if only for Adeline’s delicious home-made jams.

The Dordogne will capture your heart, but it is Adeline who will make it unforgettable.

The room: This was the most beautiful space we stayed in all of France.

The room is stunning and no detail has been overlooked. Adeline put fresh flowers all over the place and a welcome bottle of wine was waiting for us (along with a cold welcome berry drink the second we walked in the door). Dordogne: The Dordogne is a special place, so full of things to do. That being said, as an American that does not speak french it can be nearly impossible to figure out how to do any of it (especially finding dinner as every place needs a reservation ahead of time and it is difficult to find good places to eat as a rule not just in Dordogne). Adeline literally messaged me daily with suggestions and an excited offer to make reservations for us. She and Wulf really want people to enjoy where they are. Because of this, we felt special and were able to see the best parts of the area that only locals usually know (from a canoe trip with vegetarian sandwiches to the best restaurants you have ever seen in the middle of no where). With Adeline, you literally walk into a personally curated experience created to maximize your romance and showcase the Dordogne. She forgets nothing and thinks of everything. We were in France for nearly three weeks, and this was by far the best B&B we stayed in. You will not find another Adeline and Wulf.

If you can stay here, consider yourself lucky.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful house!

Not happy about: Abolutely nothing
