We’re Wulf and Adeline, and we created La Maison Louverie a few years ago as a charming Bed & Breakfast in the Dordogne. After exploring the world separately and finding each other on the expedition ship “Plancius’ to the South Pole, we discovered this peaceful corner of paradise in the tiny hamlet of Couleyrie.
For a few years now, we’ve transformed it into a charming private holiday home|gîte or as we call it– a country retreat in the Dordogne where new guests, families, and friends can return again and again to enjoy the space, views, nicely decorated rooms, the large pool, and the peace and quiet.

Our approach
From the love we have for gardening to colors and interior design, La Maison Louverie has been in our hearts from the first moment we arrived. The house has a very good spirit, and that’s why we like to take care of it and share it. We hope our guests find the same kind of calm this house offers and feel at home the moment they enter. We like to bring personality and trust from the moment the guests book till the moment they arrive, and we show them around and give them a royal goodbye when it’s time to leave. We will always be there to guide the way and give information and advice. We don’t live on the premises, but we live close, so we can always help if needed. We would appreciate the same thing if we were abroad. That’s our approach; we like to treat our guests with kindness and respect,like we would want for ourselves.
