Using a GPS typing in ‘France, Lieu-dit Couleyrie, 24150 Pontours’ should work. Alternatively just try ‘Couleyrie, Pontours’.
Using Google Maps? Just give in : La Maison Louverie
The exact GPS coordinates are: 44.818119, 0.795629
Couleyrie is a hamlet of Pontours. There are no street names, so usually your GPS will tell you at the street sign of Couleyrie that you have ‘found your destination’. That sign is right in front of the house, you only have to turn into the driveway with the sign ‘La Maison Louverie’ to park your car.
From Bergerac and Periqueux (N21) there are signs to Lalinde, follow those and cross the Roman bridge to the south. (You have the Dordogne river on your left) You drive through Pontours and about 1km after Pontours (you have a orchard with a little boathouse on your left) you turn right at the sign for Couleyrie. Follow that road for less than 3 km and you will find yourself at the ‘centre’ of Couleyrie. La Maison Louverie is to the right.
If you come from the direction Sarlat-de-Caneda or Periqueux (through Le Bugue)then go south and cross the river Dordogne at Le Buisson-de-Cadouin. After crossing the river you go right (direction west D28/29) and follow the signs to Cales and/or Badefols-sur-Dordogne. After you crossed Badefols and after about 0,5 km, you turn left at the sign to Couleyrie. On your right you have the orchard and the boathouse. Follow that road for less then 3 km and you enter the ‘centre’ of the hamlet on top of the hill. La Maison Louverie is to your right.
Bergerac Airport (Roumanieres) is the closest Domestic/Regional Airport in the neighbourhood and just a 25 minute drive from La Maison Louverie.
Bergerac can now be reached via Amsterdam/Rotterdam and London Stansted! Or see if you live close to a city-airport that flies direct to Bergerac https://www.bergerac.aeroport.fr/en/destinations/
Brive Vallee de la Dordogne is the next closest airport and is 90 km away.
Bordeaux is the closest international airport and is a 2 hour drive away.
Coming from Paris you can also take the TGV (fast train) to travel in a record time of 2 hours (19x a day) to Bordeaux and rent a car there.
Or Toulouse (Blagnac) Airport 178 km and about 2 hours and 25 minutes drive
