La Maison Louverie is a ‘Perigordine’ French country house, situated in the hamlet Couleyrie in the Perigord Pourpre, Dordogne. The estate has four hectares of land, an enclosed garden, swimmingpool (11 x 5 meter) orchard, forest and grassland. On the terrain there is also a old barn and a tabacco barn.

The ground floor of the house: entrance in the hall, living room, kitchen and bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The second floor can be reach by the staircase in the hall. Here are two bedrooms, two bathrooms and the attic can be reached by one of the rooms.

In the hall downstairs there are a washing machine, a dryer and a drying rack.

The living room has a lounge area in front of the fireplace, a dining table for ten and a door to the terrace. The connected fully equipped kitchen has a cooking stove, oven, fridge-freezer, double sink and dishwasher.

Chambre Truffe: This classic bedroom (40m²) is downstairs, has an en-suite bathroom a large authentic four-poster bed (180 x 200 cm), a sofa, wardrobe, make-up table with two chairs, heaters, mirror and direct connection to the terrace. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink, towel rack and table and a heated towel rack.

Chambre Figue: This romantic bedroom in soft country style colors decorated, has a double bed (160 x 180 cm) with en-suite bathroom and a marvelous view to the south. There is a sitting area in front of the fireplace. This sofa can be used for 2 small children to sleep (instead of the old bakery | ancienne boulangerie), clothing cabinet, heaters, wardrobe, large Barock French mirror a Violon table and two chairs. The bathroom: bathtub, separate shower, sink, toilet, bidet, mirror, window, bathroom table and heated towel-rack.

Chambre Noix: This spacious charming bedroom has a large (180 x 200 cm) four-poster bed with drapes, bed bench, window to the west (orchard), window to the south (garden), seating area with two large chairs and a couch in front of the (non-working) fireplace, table with four chairs, mirror, heaters, clothing rack and a classic wardrobe with mirror door. The staircase leads to the attic were two boxspring beds, a antique ‘lit de repos’ (daybed), wardrobe and clothing rack are. The attic has three original Perigordine tri-angel windows. For the summer there is a mobile air-conditioning unit if requested. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, bidet, mirror, window, table and heated towel rack.

Ancienne Boulangerie: This annex at the front of the house was an ancient bakery. In total this building is 20m².  10m² is still the untouched old oven. The other 10m² is changed into a very cosy private bedroom. A metal frame bed (160 x 190 cm) is the eye cather of the room. Two small windows facing the orchard and a big window with shutters give plenty of light to brighten up this cute room. A large standing mirror, couch, heater and cabinet are provided.

The terrace is at the back of the house, on the south side. There is a large dining table with ten chairs. Under the classy orning is a lounge corner with soft pillows. Different hammocks and seating areas are there to be found in the garden. In the shade of the orchard is a large table, ideal for lunch during warm days.

The swimming pool (11 x 5 meter) with shower is fenced off and has an alarm. Around the pool are sun loungers. Just outside in the shade, another relaxing corner with marble table and sixchairs. Pool is open from June till early September.

All together the house has five bedrooms with four bathrooms. There is enough space to park on private property, including in the garage next to the house.
